Bata Heritage Centre recently opened the doors of East Tilbury library to greet its guests at the first of its 2016 biannual Open Days.

Visitors were able to view the recently updated display cabinets and photograph boards, some of which reflected the 50th anniversary of a Scout Troop in East Tilbury as well as the 1966 World Cup triumph and the link between Bata and West Ham United.  They were also able to see displays from Essex Records Office, The Essex Cultural Diversity Project, Tilbury & Chadwell memories and TheCoalhouse Fort Project.
