On Sunday 27th April 2014 we will be holding a Re-Dedication Service at the War Memorial.
Following a successful bid for money a the Heritage Lottery Grant we have had a complete re-furbishment done and added names of British Bata Employees who had not been included when the War Memorial was first erected. We have also had repairs done to the paving in the surrounding area and generally tidied up the Memorial Gardens.
On 27th April there will be an Official Re-Dedication and if you would like to attend we would love to see you, however we would appreciate it if you could let us know of your intentions.

At the original unveiling Ken Stanley laid a wreath on behalf of the Company Employees, we are pleased to announce that he will be repeating this by laying a wreath on behalf of all Bata People on the 27th.
