We are planning for this event to be held in two-centres as usual with an exhibition and ‘Find Your Family and Friends’ research in the Admin block (Building 13) on the site of the old Bata Factory from 10am – 1 pm. Our optional guided tours will also start from here at 11:00, 11:30 and 12:00. It is essential to book your guided tours in advance. They will all finish at the East Tilbury Library. Please book your places for the tour via brrcatbatamemories@hotmail.com in advance. Meanwhile, more exhibits will be found at the East Tilbury Library from 10am – 4pm. During the afternoon, there will be a free talk at the Library about the history of Bata, its factory and architecture, the residential estate, its people and social heritage.
