RONALD ERNEST DAWSON
Ronald Dawson was a Gunner in 360 Battery, 110 Light Anti Aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery.

He was the son of Percy and Louisa C Dawson, of Pitsea.
Ronald worked in the Rubber Factory Department 654 for 3 years before leaving to join the Merchant Navy in 1941. He later joined the Army.
In a letter to the Bata Record in 1944 he said that he was somewhere in India and had visited several Bata Shoe Shops there.
He was wounded on the 29th and died on Friday 30th June 1944 in France, aged 22.
