MAY MEEK – 1954
May Meek on the controlling table in Dept 442 is in her second period of service on the M.A.C., of which she was a member when she worked in the rubber factory three years ago.
Then she was a machinist, a capacity in which she worked for nine months in the leather factory. She has been a Batawoman for more than six years.
“Most matters which workers raise can be settle outside M.A.C. meetings,” said May, and I always encourage people to refer to me or my fellow members anything they wish to put forward.”
