Eric Garrad was a Leading Aircraftman with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.
He was the son of Mr and Mrs. F.J.Garrad of Little Wakering, Essex.

He died on Sunday 8th April 1945 aged 23 in a Japanese Prisoner of War Camp. His capture was reported in the Bata Record in 1943.
