JOSEPH HUGHES

Joseph Hughes died in Preston Hall hospital Aylesford Kent on 27th December 1944 , aged 38, after a long illness.

He had joined the Royal Army Medical Corps in August 1942 and was in ill health on discharge, never fully recovering.

Before the War he worked for Bata Shoe Company. He worked in the Rubber factory . He lived at 21 Gloucester-Avenue-East Tilbury Essex.

Joseph was the husband of Jessie Elizabeth Hughes of Cambridge and is buried in Stanford-le Hope Cemetery, Essex.
