Hitchins is seen in the inset below, on the right. On the left is designer M Mucha, who designed the shoe, which is selling well at 39s. 11d.
With just the style and finish to appeal to the woman who wants a smart, comfortable fashion shoe, this model should remain among the top sellers during 1963.
